Meet the Coaches

Dan Iwan

Dan Iwan is the current Head Boys Track & Field Coach at Solon High School and brings extensive experience developing elite-level sprinters, hurdlers, and throwers. Under his leadership, athletes have earned multiple state championships, including two 100m state titles, a state champion in the 300 hurdles, and multiple state champions in the discus. Dan is known for his technical expertise in sprint mechanics, race execution, and competitive preparation.

Brian Sabol

Brian Sabol is the current Head Girls Track & Field Coach at Solon High School with a strong track record of athlete development and competitive success at the state level. He is recognized for building technically sound athletes through a fundamentals-first, detail-oriented coaching approach. Brian focuses on proper movement patterns, smart training progressions, and long-term development.

Sarah Inge

Sarah Inge is a Solon resident and substitute teacher in the Solon City School District with more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education. She has worked with children across a wide range of ages and developmental stages, building expertise in classroom management, age-appropriate instruction, and inclusive learning environments. Sarah brings a deep understanding of how children learn and respond to structured activities, helping ensure Solon Track Club programming is developmentally appropriate, accessible, and supportive for athletes of all abilities. Health and fitness are core values in her life, and her perspective as both an educator and parent helps foster a positive, welcoming environment where kids feel confident, encouraged, and excited to participate.

Mike Inge

Mike Inge is a former NCAA Division I track athlete at Kent State University, where he was a multiple-time All American, jr. national champion, and Olympic Trials qualifier in the 800 meters. He gained hands-on experience in gait analysis, running efficiency, and injury prevention while working at a specialty running store for 7 years. Mike also taught yoga for three years with a focus on runners, emphasizing mobility, stability, and functional movement. His background combines elite competitive experience with deep movement knowledge to help young athletes move better, stay healthy, and perform with confidence.
